Tim grew up in suburban Connecticut.  His family's home was often a resting place for missionaries visiting their church.  So, from early days, visions of ministry in exotic places danced in Tim's imagination.

Tim made his first commitment to Christ while sitting on the front steps of their home while his mother explained the meaning of salvation. And, at sixteen years old, after a church missions conference, his heart was stirred to be available to God to serve wherever He wanted.

Tim pursued training for his calling at Moody Bible Institute (Chicago, IL) where he and Jessica met.  He completed seminary studies at Trinity Evangelical Divinity School (Deerfield, IL).

Tim is grateful for the deep and abiding satisfaction that comes from knowing that he is exactly where God wants him to be.  His favorite pastimes include running, reading, Scrabble and roasting coffee.

Jessica's first eighteen years of life growing up in Alaska provided her with a unique combination of traits appropriate for her call to serve God in Rwanda - including resiliency, simplicity and backbone.

Jessica made her first commitment to Christ as a little girl while helping her mother fold laundry.  At sixteen years, she was stirred by her church's missions conference to respond to the call to missions.

After working for the Alaska State Senate, Jessica pursued her calling by studying at Ecola Bible School (Cannon Beach, OR) and Moody Bible Institute (Chicago, IL).  She completed her education with a master's degree from DePaul University (Chicago, IL).

Jessica lives in deep anticipation of what God will do in her and through her.  Her favorite pastimes include reading, running and cooking.  But, more than anything, she enjoys being a mom.
