SIGNS TO GET TO OUR HOUSE
Fourth year MNC pastors studying in the Pastoral Training School are wearing new t-shirts that they were given by Lazy Mountain Bible Church in Palmer, Alaska. Sylvain is a fourth year student in the PTS. He is a pastor from a church in Gitarama (central Rwanda), serving in a denomination called The Evangelical Restoration Church. Alfred is a regional leader from Kibungo (southeast Rwanda), overseeing almost ten churches. He serves in a denomination called CEER. This is where Tim buys his green coffee beans to then roast himself. He usually buys between 10-15 kilograms per visit. Often visits are extended, as Tim sits in their office drinking coffee and talking about the Lord - is there a better combination?
So how do you get to our house from the main road? If you see these two signs tucked under the acacia tree, you have reached our road. These two signs are a good representation of the the dual atmosphere of development and dependency within Rwanda.
