Mmm! This is Tim's weekly hobby in Rwanda - home roasting coffee. In July we welcomed a special house guest named Peter. He was a blessing to all of us. The traditional part of our student's wedding ceremony. Sylvain had to ask his bride's family for permission to marry her, presenting a cow as a dowery gift. Because Sylvain's parents are dead, an older pastor from the area stood in as his father and representative of the family. As a part of Rwandan tradition, an old man stood up at the end of the dowery ceremony and sang the history of the cow - from birth to being given as a dowery. After the traditional ceremony, everyone changed clothes and went to the church wedding. God has given us a good friend in the pastor of the church we attend. Martin and Prince had a great time jumping on a trampoline during a special time to thank the Rwandese helpers that God has given to us over the last four years.
