Jamie, Eric and Kaylie

Jamie and Eric have been married since 2003 and live in San Jose, CA. Kaylie was born in March 2006. Zachary was born May 2008.

Jamie quit teaching 3rd grade to care for Kaylie, Zachary (and the MANY more they may eventually have -- just kidding!).

Eric is in sales with Cisco in their web conferencing service.  He is blessed with having a stable job during these tough economic times.

Kaylie is tremendously smart and talented, not to mention cute — she’ll probably be starting college soon! Zachary has started life healthy and easy on Dad and Mom.

They attend West Gate Church in Saratoga.

Most Saturday mornings they go to Rosalina’s sidewalk café and have breakfast burritos and coffee.

You can pray that they might be able to buy a house.  Since Jamie has decided not to work that she might devote herself to the kids, they've found houses o be just beyond the reach of their one-income

Matthew and Ellie

Matt and Ellie have been married since 2005 and live in Spokane, WA.

Matt finished Moody’s aviation school in June of 2008. He hopes to be a missionary pilot in Africa. He's been hired as an assistant instructor at Moody. They will most likely be in Spokane for 3 years as Matt gets more training and experience, they pay off school loans, and begin raising support.

Ellie who is a nurse, has quit her job working for an Ob.Gyn. in Spokane.
BECAUSE they're no longer expecting their first child --

#1 IS HERE!

Blake Matthew Scheer -- born May 15.  And here he is:

You can pray for Matt and Ellie, too, as they have just decided to try to make it on one meager income, too.

Andrew

Andy graduated from Stanford in California with a B.S. in civil-engineering in June of 2007.

After finishing a one-year assignment with Samaritan's Purse in Sudan (Nuba Mountain area) he's moved back to San Jose, CA. He's looking for an engineering job -- not an easy thing to find these days!

Meanwhile he's God's provided him with a good community of believers through his church and housemates.  He's doing some volunteer work and looking into grad school for next year.

He’s become an expert in getting free t-shirts on-line.
