Meet the Team

Director
Nick Pirolo
Nick is passionate about teaching the Word of God and discipling Christian leaders. He appreciates being able to work with Rwandan staff and students from many different backgrounds and denominations, with the goal of seeing each individual and church be equipped and mature in Christ. Nick has a Masters of Divinity from Denver Seminary (USA) and is currently working on a PhD in Education from Regent University (USA). Nick, his wife Krystal and their three kids have served in Rwanda since 2016.

Ministry Manager
Joseph Muyombano
Joseph has been in ministry for nearly 30 years. He joined NCM in 2008 and is much beloved in his role as "pastor to the pastors." His burden is to help pastors cultivate godly habits and truly disciple their church members. Joseph also serves as the senior pastor of the Inkuru Nziza Church Parish of Bugesera. He has a MA in Theological Studies from the International Leadership University (Kenya). He and his wife Beatrice have five daughters and one grandson.

Partnerships Manager
Laura Pearce
Laura desires to see the global Body of Christ grow in maturity and unity so that it can fulfill the Great Commission. She is excited to empower and equip Rwandans to serve as advocates for NCM, both locally and internationally. She also seeks to engage the Western Church in deep, mutual partnerships with NCM and the Rwandan Church. Laura has a Bachelor in Business Administration from Bryan College (USA) and has served in Rwanda since 2017.

Finance Manager
Abel Mutsinzi
With more than ten years of professional experience, Abel provides financial oversight and accountability for NCM, making sure that it is achieving its ministry goals with financial integrity and efficiency. Abel has a Bachelor in Business Management and Accounting from Mount Kenya University (Rwanda) and will soon receive his Certified Public Accountant License. Abel is passionate about evangelism and serves in his church's kids ministry. He and his wife Kellen have one daughter.

MLT Teacher
Gaudiose Mukakalisa
Gaudiose's heart is to help parents and churches disciple children who will love Jesus and serve Him faithfully. She joined NCM in 2009. Gaudiose has a special passion for training those who teach children and for mentoring church leaders as they develop children's ministry programs. Gaudiose has a Bachelor of Theology from South African Theological Seminary (South Africa). Gaudiose and her husband Bosco have four sons.

MLT Teacher
Alphonse Vuguzigira
Alphonse is passionate about the True Gospel and loves to share God's Word with others. He has "grown up" in the NCM family. In 2006 he came to NCM as a student and in 2018 he became a full time teacher. During Covid he began a radio ministry which has opened doors for him to share the Gospel with people throughout Rwanda. Alphonse has a Bachelor of Theology from South African Theological Seminary (South Africa). He and his wife Christine have four sons.

Discipleship & Agriculture
Lance Ferguson
Lance desires to see rural church leaders grounded in the Gospel and faithfully teaching the Bible. Given that the vast majority of our students are also involved in agriculture, Lance works with our demonstration farm, implementing and teaching conservation agriculture techniques. He seeks to disciple students and to help them see agriculture from a Biblical perspective. Lance has a Masters of Theology from Dallas Theological Seminary. He and his wife Tiffany have four children and have served in missions since 2012.

Discipleship & Worship
Antoinette Hansen
Antoinette is passionate about equipping, empowering and encouraging church leaders and musicians. As a theological educator, musician and musical worship leader, she desires to partner alongside the Rwandan Church and community in the work of discipleship, so that the Body of Christ may be built up. Antoinette has a Masters of Arts in Global Studies from Liberty University (USA) and has been serving in Rwanda since 2021.

Executive Assistant
Christine Muyisenge
Christine is an essential member of the NCM team and keeps everything running smoothly. She primarily serves as the Executive Assistant to the NCM Director, but is quick to help out wherever she can. Christine has been a friend of NCM since 2005, when she began teaching Kinyarwanda to new missionaries. She officially joined the staff team in 2014. Christine and her husband Joe have one daughter and two sons.
